Expression, open eyes, glasses, head covering, dress and how recent the photo is are all set by the authority and are for you to check against its page.

Mark the crown and chin on your own photo and check it against the published dimensions for a Saudi eVisa, Schengen, US or UK passport photo — head height, eye line, resolution and file size. Everything runs on your device; nothing is uploaded. Dimensions only: it does not judge expression, glasses or dress, and it cannot promise a photo will be accepted.

About this tool

What you provide

  • A photo in any format your device can decode — JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF.
  • The crown and chin positions, marked by dragging a line onto your own photo (plus the eye line where the specification states one).
  • A document preset: Saudi eVisa, Schengen, US passport or UK passport.

What you get

  • A cropped photo at the preset's required pixel size, downloaded to your device.
  • A per-rule report: head height, eye line, resolution, file size and background evenness, each with the measured value beside the published range.
  • A link to the issuing authority's own specification for the chosen document.

Limits

  • Dimensions only. It never judges expression, glasses, head covering, dress or how recent the photo is.
  • Meeting the published dimensions is not a guarantee of acceptance — the issuing authority decides.
  • Saudi passport and Iqama are not included: their measurements could not be confirmed against the issuing authority.
  • The background check samples the corners of the crop for evenness only; it does not certify a colour.
  • Positions are the ones you mark. There is no face detection, so the measurements are only as accurate as your lines.

How to use it

  1. Choose a photo

    Use a straight-on photo with the whole head and the top of the shoulders in frame — the crop is taken from it, so there must be room above the crown.

  2. Pick the document

    Choose Saudi eVisa, Schengen, US passport or UK passport. Each preset shows the published dimensions and links to the authority's own page.

  3. Mark the crown and chin

    Drag the two lines onto the top of the head and the chin — with the arrow keys if you prefer. Where the specification states an eye line, a third line appears.

  4. Read the measurements

    Each rule shows the measured value next to the published range, so you can see exactly what is out and by how much.

  5. Download the photo

    Save the cropped photo at the required pixel size. Check the authority's page for the requirements this tool does not measure.

Frequently asked questions

Which documents does this cover?

Saudi eVisa, Schengen, US passport and UK passport. Each preset carries a link to the issuing authority's own published specification and the date we read it.

Why is there no Saudi passport or Iqama preset?

We could not confirm their measurements against the issuing authority's own page. The figures repeated across commercial passport-photo sites agree with each other, but that is not independent corroboration, so we leave them out rather than guess.

Does it tell me whether my photo will be accepted?

No. It measures dimensions — head height, eye line, resolution, file size and background evenness — and reports each against the published range. Expression, glasses, head covering, dress and how recent the photo is are decided by the authority.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The photo is read, measured and cropped on your device, and nothing is sent to a server. The tool works offline once the page has loaded.
