Dzzz is a set of tools that do their work on your own device. This page says exactly what stays there, what leaves, and what happens to the little that does.

Your files stay on your device

When you open a file in a tool — a video, a photo, a PDF, a recording, text you paste — it is processed on your device. It is not uploaded, and we operate no server that receives it.

There is no account and nothing to sign in to.

The three tools that use the network

Currency conversion and gold prices fetch published rates. Those requests carry no information about you.

My IP is the exception, and it is the whole purpose of that tool: your public address reaches our server, is passed to a third-party geolocation provider to resolve the approximate city, and our hosting platform's request logs retain it for 30 days. The tool says so on its own screen before it runs.

That is why the App Store privacy label declares Coarse Location. It is used only to answer the request and is not linked to your identity or used for tracking.

Tools that download a processing engine

Some tools fetch a processing engine or a machine-learning model the first time you open them, and tell you the size before they do. That download is an ordinary web request; nothing about your files is sent with it. Once fetched, those tools also work offline.

What your device stores

Some tools remember settings or entries so they are still there next time — the cycle tracker, the GPA and payday calculators, the coffee recipes, the baloot scoreboard, your favourites. All of it is stored by the app on the device itself, is never uploaded, and is not visible to us.

Each of those tools has a control that deletes everything it holds. Clearing the app's or browser's storage removes it all.

Health and cycle information

The cycle tracker and the due-date calculator hold information that is sensitive by any standard. It is stored on your device and nowhere else: no account, no sync, no server of ours receives it, and the app asks for no notification permission.

These tools are calculators, not medical advice.

Camera, microphone and photos

The camera is used only when you open a tool that needs it — the QR scanner, the document scanner, the colour picker. The microphone is used only when you choose to record. Frames and recordings are processed on your device and are not uploaded.

Access to your photo library is requested only when you choose to save a file you made.

Analytics

The app contains no analytics. Nothing measures what you do inside it.

The website dzzz.ai does load Google Tag Manager, which is how page-level analytics are configured. In the EEA and the UK, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied by default through Google Consent Mode.

Children

Dzzz is a general-purpose set of utilities and is not directed at children. It asks for no personal details from anyone.

Changes

If what the software does changes, this page changes with it. The date above is when it was last revised.
