Limits

  • English and Arabic only; the translation model for the direction you pick (about 120 MB) downloads once, and starting from a video adds an 80 MB transcription model.
  • Machine translation quality varies — review and edit the captions before exporting.
  • Burning the subtitles into the picture is experimental; check that the Arabic shaping looks right before relying on it.

How to use it

  1. Choose your source

    Use the From video tab to drop a video file, or the Upload SRT/VTT tab to drop subtitles that already have timings.

  2. Set direction and output

    Pick English → Arabic or Arabic → English, then choose Translation only or Bilingual (original + translation).

  3. Download the models

    Tap Download engine for the 118 MB translation model of the direction you picked; starting from a video puts a second gate before it for the 80 MB transcription model.

  4. Translate the captions

    Tap Translate; the tool transcribes the video if needed, then translates each cue while keeping its original start and end times.

  5. Review and export

    Edit any cue in the list, then export SRT or VTT — or, from a video, use Attach as subtitle track (.mkv) or the experimental Burn into video.
