Turn a meeting recording into a clear summary and action items. Transcription always runs on your device — nothing is uploaded for that step. Get a quick summary the same way, on-device and offline, or optionally send the transcript once to our server for a stronger AI summary (clearly labeled, and deleted right after processing). Limits

  • The optional AI summary leaves your device: it sends the transcript to our server, which deletes it after processing, and only when you tap that button.
  • Transcription runs on your device and downloads an 80 MB model once.
  • The on-device summary is extractive — it selects sentences already in the transcript rather than writing new ones.

How to use it

  1. Add the recording

    Drop a meeting recording, audio or video, on the dropzone, or tap it to choose a file.

  2. Set the language

    Pick the language spoken in the recording from the Language list, which is what the transcription accuracy depends on.

  3. Transcribe on your device

    Tap Download engine (~80 MB · one time) for the transcription model, then tap Transcribe; this step runs entirely on your device.

  4. Review the transcript

    Read and edit the transcript in the box — this is where you remove anything sensitive before it goes anywhere.

  5. Choose how to summarise

    Tap Basic on-device summary instead to keep everything local, or, where Send for AI summary is offered, tap it to send the transcript to our server; then copy the summary or export TXT or MD.

Frequently asked questions

Does Meeting Summary keep my recording private?

The transcription step runs on your device. The AI summary is optional and is only sent to a server if you explicitly request it.

Is the transcript sent to a server for the summary?

Only if you ask for the optional AI summary — that step sends the transcript for processing. If you skip it, everything stays on your device.

How do I get action items from a meeting recording?

Transcribe the recording on-device first, then optionally request the AI summary to get a summary.
