Limits

  • Target-size presets also scale the video down to 720p.
  • If the result would be larger than the original, your original file is kept.
  • A target too small for the video's length is refused rather than attempted.
  • Videos longer than 5 minutes on a phone or 15 minutes on a computer are refused — trim first.

How to use it

  1. Add your video

    Drop an MP4, MOV or WebM file onto the dropzone — a preview loads so the tool can read the duration.

  2. Pick a target

    Choose "Email (25 MB)", "WhatsApp (16 MB)", "Custom MB", or switch to "Quality" to compress without a size target.

  3. Set the value

    With Custom MB, type the target size in megabytes; with Quality, choose Low, Medium or High.

  4. Compress and save

    Tap "Compress Video" — the size before and after is shown when it finishes — then tap "Save / Share".
