How to use it
Paste your text
Paste or type Arabic or English text into the Text box; long text is split into short parts automatically, and Clear empties the box.
Choose a voice
Under Voice settings pick a voice from your device's list, or leave Device default, and set Speed, Pitch and Volume.
Play and follow along
Tap Play; the status line shows which part is being read and Now reading shows its text, while the same button becomes Pause and Stop ends the reading.
Frequently asked questions
Can I download the reading as an audio file?
No. This tool reads text aloud but cannot save an audio file. The reading is produced by the speech engine already installed on your device, and browsers do not hand that audio back to the page, so there is nothing for the tool to capture or save. If you need an audio file, record it outside the browser or use a service built for that.
Why is the list of voices different on my phone and my computer?
The voices come from your device, not from this site, so the list is whatever your operating system and browser make available. That is also why one device may have an Arabic voice and another may not. Adding a voice in your system settings may help, though some browsers do not show system-installed voices to a web page.
What happens with Arabic text when no Arabic voice is available?
The tool says so instead of reading it with an English voice. An English voice pronouncing Arabic letters produces something you cannot follow, so it is refused rather than done quietly. Where an Arabic voice does exist, note that device voices read Modern Standard Arabic and not a dialect.
Why is long text split into parts?
Several browsers stop a single long reading partway through, and Android limits one request to a few thousand characters. The text is split at sentence endings, including the Arabic question mark and comma, and the parts are read in order so the reading carries on to the end.
