Every figure is a range on purpose. Appetites, how many dishes are on the table and how long the gathering runs all move it.

Quantities only — this planner carries no calorie or nutrition data.

Plan how much rice, meat, salad, bread and drinks to prepare for a gathering. Every quantity is a range drawn from common hosting practice rather than a fixed standard, with a serving-style multiplier you control. Runs entirely on your device.

Limits

  • The figures are commonly used hosting estimates, not an official standard.

How to use it

  1. Enter the guest count

Type how many people you are cooking for in the Guests field.

  2. Choose the serving style

Pick Light, Normal or Generous — the hint says what each one assumes, and the multiplier it applies is shown with your guest count.

  3. Read the quantities

Each item lists a per-person range and a total under Main, Meat & poultry and Sides & extras, and Copy shopping list turns the totals into text.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate are these portion figures?

They are commonly used hosting estimates, not an official standard, which is why every item is shown as a range rather than a single number. Adjust them to your guests and your menu.

What does the occasion setting change?

It applies a visible multiplier to every range, from a lighter spread to a more generous one, so you can see exactly how much the estimate moved instead of it being hidden in the defaults.

Does it tell me anything about calories or nutrition?

No. It plans quantities to buy and cook only. The calorie calculator is the tool for nutrition figures.
