Frequently asked questions
Does this upload my photos anywhere?
No. Photos are read and stitched on your device; nothing is sent to a server. A small one-time engine download (about 4 MB) is required the first time, after which the tool works offline.
Why did stitching fail?
Stitching needs enough shared detail between neighbouring photos to line them up. The most common causes are too little overlap, something moving between shots, or a big exposure change partway through — the failure screen names which one and how to fix it.
How many photos can I combine, and in what order?
Up to 12 photos, in the order you drag them into — that order matters, since stitching lines up each photo with its neighbours in sequence.
What does the suggested crop do?
A stitched panorama has a ragged, semi-transparent border where the photos don't fully overlap. The tool finds the largest clean rectangle inside that border and lets you drag it into place, or you can skip cropping and keep the full ragged frame.
