ZATCA invoice QR New
Decode or build a Saudi e-invoice QR
Decode and generate the Saudi ZATCA Phase-1 e-invoice QR (TLV/Base64) entirely on your device — read the seller, VAT number, timestamp, and totals, or build a QR from your invoice. Nothing is uploaded, and cryptographic stamps are never verified.
About this tool
What you provide
- The Base64 text of an e-invoice QR, an image of it, or a scan with your camera
- Or invoice details — seller name, VAT number, timestamp, total including VAT, and the VAT amount — to build one
What you get
- The decoded fields: seller, VAT number, timestamp, total and VAT amount, with any cryptographic tags listed by size
- A generated QR as PNG or SVG, plus its Base64 text
Limits
- Decoding reads the fields only — it does not verify the ZATCA cryptographic stamp or the seller's registration.
- The generator produces the simplified-invoice (Phase 1) QR fields only; full compliance involves more than the QR.
- A QR that is not a ZATCA e-invoice, or an image too unclear to read fully, is reported as such rather than guessed.
- Everything happens on your device — invoice data is not uploaded.
How to use it
-
Choose Decode or Generate
Decode reads an existing invoice QR; Generate builds one from invoice details.
-
Feed in the code
In Decode, tap "Paste text" for the Base64 string, "Upload" for a photo of the QR, or "Scan" to use the camera — the scanner closes itself on the first code it reads.
-
Read the fields
Total including VAT, VAT amount, seller, VAT number and timestamp each appear with a copy button, and "Cryptographic fields present" lists any stamp tags by size — reading them does not verify the ZATCA stamp.
-
Or build a QR
In Generate, enter the seller name, VAT number and invoice total — the timestamp arrives filled with the current time, and the VAT amount auto-fills at 15% until you edit it — then save the live preview as PNG or SVG, or tap "Copy Base64".
Frequently asked questions
How do I read what's inside a ZATCA e-invoice QR code?
Paste or scan the QR code's data into the ZATCA invoice QR tool and it decodes the invoice information encoded inside it, instantly on your device.
Can I generate an e-invoice QR code for my own invoice?
Yes, the tool can build an e-invoice QR from your invoice details, as well as decode existing ones.
Does this tool upload my invoice data to a server?
No, decoding and building the QR happens locally on your device, so your invoice details aren't sent anywhere.
