How to use it

  1. Check the gram price

    The strip at the top shows the live gram price for the selected karat; Edit lets you enter your dealer's price by hand instead.

  2. Set karat and weight

    Choose 18K, 21K, 22K or 24K, then enter the piece's weight in the Weight (grams) field.

  3. Choose the making charge

    Switch between Per gram, Percentage and Per piece, enter the figure, and add a dealer profit per gram if there is one.

  4. Decide on VAT

    Leave "Add VAT (15%)" ticked or clear it, and at 24K a "Bar / investment gold (VAT-exempt)" option appears.

  5. Read and copy the breakdown

    The rows and the final total update as you type, and "Copy summary (ready for WhatsApp)" copies every line.
