Limits
- Only public links work — content that is private, deleted, or behind a login cannot be downloaded.
- YouTube links are not handled here; YouTube has its own separate downloader page.
- The link is sent to our server to look up the download options, and full links are never logged.
- Some platforms serve video and audio separately; those are merged in your browser, and very large files can exceed the in-browser limit — pick a lower quality if that happens.
How to use it
Paste the link
Paste the post's link into the field, or tap "Paste" to take it from your clipboard; the lookup starts as soon as a supported link is recognised. For several at once, turn on "Bulk mode" and paste one link per line.
Choose video or audio
Use the Video / Audio switch, or open "More quality options" to pick a specific resolution row or the MP3 128 kbps row.
Download and save
Tap the main button — "Save / Share" or "Download HD" on the Video side, "Download MP3" on the Audio side — to save the file to your device; the thumbnail button next to it saves the cover image.
Frequently asked questions
Which sites can I download from?
TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, Twitch, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Dailymotion, Bilibili, Tumblr and Likee, plus public Snapchat Spotlight and Story links, which are still in beta. Paste the link and the tool works out the platform on its own. It is free, with no account and no app to install.
Can I download a private or followers-only video?
No. Only a link that anyone can open will work. Content that is private, limited to followers, deleted, or behind a login cannot be fetched, and there is no sign-in step or stored account to get around that.
What gets sent to your server?
The link, so the server can ask the platform which downloads are available and send that list back. Full links are never written to its logs. The file itself is fetched by your browser, and the bytes pass through our server only when a platform refuses a direct request from the browser, in which case they are streamed through without being stored. The list of your recent downloads is kept on your device.
Can I save just the audio as an MP3?
Yes. Switch to audio before downloading and the track is encoded as a 128 kbps MP3 inside your browser, with an M4A saved instead if the encode cannot run. SoundCloud is the exception: it already serves an audio file, so that file is saved as it is.
Do the downloads have a watermark?
This tool adds none of its own — you get the file the platform serves. How that file looks is the platform's decision, so a clip published with a watermark burned into the picture still carries it after downloading.
Why does a large video sometimes take a while or stop?
Some platforms serve the picture and the sound as two separate streams, so both are fetched and then combined inside your browser, which takes time and memory. There is a 400 MB ceiling on what is held in the browser, and beyond it the download stops with a message instead of taking the tab down; choosing a lower quality keeps you under it.
